Scuba diving is a physical activity that requires good health. We recommend that you sleep well the night before and eat light before diving.

Before diving, make sure all your equipment is in good condition and fits properly. If you're not sure, ask your instructor for help.

Listen carefully to your guide's safety instructions and respect the depth limits. Don't forget to equalise the pressure in your ears regularly during descent and ascent.

Tenerife is renowned for the beauty of its seabed. Help preserve them by avoiding touching or disturbing the marine life.

Diving can dehydrate you, so make sure you drink enough water before and after diving.

It is advisable to avoid flying and high altitudes for at least 24 hours after diving to reduce the risk of decompression sickness.
