Panoramic stops to take photos/videos and admire the scenery

Observing Teide

We will first drive along the new motorway to the beautiful viewpoint of the village of Chirche for a short photo break. We can also enjoy a good local coffee "El Barraquito".

We will then continue to a 500-year-old lava flow from the "Boca Cangrejo" volcano, with a view of the neighbouring island of La Gomera.

Next, we will go a bit deeper into the Teide National Park, and we will arrive at a place where we have the opportunity to take a short walk to the crater of the Sámara volcano.

We will also pass by the old summit of Teide "El Pico Viejo" with its immense lava field of over 5 km². This is a relatively recent phenomenon, as it dates back just over 200 years.

Further on, we will arrive at the most famous spot in the park with an amazing landscape and the large famous rocks called "Roques de García". Across the street, at the Parador de Cañadas del Teide, there is also a café and a lovely souvenir shop.

On the way back south, we will stop at a beautiful viewpoint overlooking several volcanoes and a huge pine forest. In the village of Vilaflor, you will find the oldest and largest pine tree "El Pino Gordo" for our last photo stop.

Finally, a short drive through the wine region of Abona will take us back to your hotel.
